I got a few autographs via mail since May, also I bought a few, and then there was a bunch of LotR autographs I purchased in December/January, which I never posted. So I’m just gonna post the signatures now. I uploaded everything on the respective pages.

First the autographs I got via mail, in alphabetical order:

autographs since November: Simon London, Jane Abbott, Stephen Fry, Wes Studi, Natalie Dormer, John Cornell

I got a few autographs since my last autograph related post:

Simon London (Feren / Hobbit)

Simon London

Third time’s a charm in this case. Simon played the Mirkwood elf with the horn in Hobbit: DoS and who tells Legolas that Tauriel’s been banished and participates in the battle (he’s around when Thranduil decides that enough elven blood has been spilled and calls back his troops).

Jane Abbott (riding double for Liv Tyler)

Jane Abbott

She and her horse Florian were the ones doing the pre-Bruinen scene, fleeing from the Nazgul. She also played a rider of Rohan.

Stephen Fry (Master of Laketown / Hobbit)

Stephen Fry3 Stephen Fry4

I already got his autograph earlier but back then there were no photos of him as Master of Laketown; so I decided to write him again and also got an autograph for my aunt who’s a big fan of his books.

Wes Studi (Eytukan/Avatar)

Wes Studi Wes Studi2 Wes Studi3

I absolutely love the movie Avatar and I’m still trying to get autographs of the main cast, so when I saw that Mr. Studi started signing again, I wrote him and thankfully he signed all three photos 🙂

Natalie Dormer (Anne Boleyn/Tudors & Cressida/Hunger Games)

Natalie Dormer2-kasdohfsebldddf Natalie Dormer3-kasoidhoasdhaoisd Natalie Dormer-kaspoidhoasdas

I didn’t like her role Anne in the Tudors because I liked Queen Catherine of Aragon too much, but I loved to hate her and Natalie did a terrific job in that show. I also liked her very much in Mockingjay part I (and her haircut was really cool ;)).

John Cornell (Glenstorm/Narnia)

John Cornell John Cornell2

Another autograph for my Narnia collection. The spanish/latin-american actors who played the Telmarines are all very elusive but at least I got another one of the centaurs now. 🙂

James McAvoy

15.01.13

James McAvoy (Mr. Tumnus / Narnia)

James McAvoy

purchased

I always wanted to have his signature on this photo, since I saw him in the movie, but it’s so hard to get his autograph through the mail, so when I saw this in an auction and the price wasn’t to high I decided to stalk this item and the price didn’t get higher, so I bought it 🙂 He was stunning and adorable as Mr. Tumnus, my favourite character in the first movie. And he’s such a great actor, I love him in X-Men – that’s why I won’t give up on getting a personalized autograph, but this is suuuuch a nice photo that my “hunger” for his autograph isn’t as high as before 😉

Added the full scan to the Narnia page (Other Movies -> Narnia)

Nathaniel Parker

08.12.11 – 10.03.12

Nathaniel Parker (Agravaine / Merlin & King Caspian IX / Narnia)

2/2 photos signed and personalized

Woooohoo! After a dryspell of one month, I got a new autograph today, on my birthday. Perfect timing to end that dry spell!

I wanted to obtain Mr. Parker’s autograph since I saw him in the british series Merlin, as Arthur’s sinister uncle Agravaine. I only realized later that he also appeared (for 5 seconds or so) in the 3rd Narnia movie, as Caspian’s father – obviously as in Caspian’s imagination while opposing the green mist.

It’s a pity that Agravaine’s storyline ended that way, I liked his subtle wickedness (and Arthur’s complete ignorance regarding his trusted advisor). However. I’m really glad that I got his autograph now and today 🙂

I added one full scan to the Merlin section (other TV shows -> Merlin), the other to the Narnia section (other movies -> Chronicles of Narnia).

Ken Stott

08.08.11 – 06.09.11

Ken Stott (Balin / The Hobbit & Marius Honorius / King Arthur & Badger / Narnia: PC)

3/3 photos signed.

Okay, double fail by me, regarding this success. 1st: Yesterday a fellow collector posted a success from Stephen Fry, to whom I had also written, and when a letter from New Zealand came, I boastfully told them (before opening the mail) that I knew exactly from whom this autograph was: Stephen Fry. Haha! Obviously, it wasn’t him but Ken Stott – that was kinda funny. And 2nd: Why the hell didn’t I send him a photo from King Arthur, one of my favourite movies? I know that I looked for photos of his animated role in the Chronicles of Narnia, but apparently I didn’t search for photos of Marius Honorius, because when I googled yesterday, that was one of the first photos that appeared. That kinda bugs me, perhaps I’m gonna send another request. But not in the next weeks, maybe shortly before “The Hobbit” gets released. We’ll see. But of course I’m very happy about this success!

I already added the full scans to the Hobbit section (you find it by putting the cursor on the Lord of the Rings section – password is the same as for the other subpages).
